What is the purpose of my Action Plan?
- The purpose is to focus your efforts into 2-5 key areas. Whether small or big changes, every move to inclusive PE kit makes a difference to your pupils.
What does my Action Plan look like?
- The Action Plan is an online form with difference sections for you to fill out for each focus area. For example, it asks for information on the 'what', 'who', 'when', and 'how' for each Action Area.
- Check out the Example Action Plan we’ve created to help you see what it looks like.
How do I complete my Action Plan?.
- Click through to the Action Plan to fill out the sections. You can stop and save your progress at any time and return to it.
- You may want to print off the Action Plan Template and discuss this with your staff to ensure buy-in and engagement.
- We suggest you engage a range of people in developing your Action Plan, such as members of your Senior Leadership, your PE/sport department, your PE teachers, and pupil representatives, as well as others.
What areas should I choose for my Action Plan?
- We suggest you start with the areas of the PE Kit Review that were marked as ‘Emerging’ or ‘Established’.
- A good place to begin is to ask a range of your pupils for their experiences. Templates to support getting your pupil views for this can be found in the School Toolkit.
What do I do after my Action Plan?
- Once you submit the Action Plan, it’s over to you to implement!
- Once completed, then head to the next Evidence section to tell us about what you did and the difference it made. If you need any help, don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.
